Pigreco Company was founded in spring 2020 by two female circus artists who share the desire to create, practice and perform together. The company is based in Milan, Italy.
Laura Colonna
Juggler, bottle-balancer and Cyr wheel performer.
Born in Milan in 1983, her passion for circus arts led her to travel, first moving to Barcelona and then to Toulouse.
Her artistic research blends circus technique with the dramaturgy of movement, ranging from street theatre to contemporary performance.
From 2021 to 2026, she collaborated with “Le Cabaret D’Hiver”, taking part in the creation of 5 shows under the circus tent.
From 2010 to 2018, she created performances with the duo “Limen Teatro”, experimenting in both street and indoor theatre, and in collaboration with the cultural association “Alice nella città”, she coordinated the programming of cultural events.
Over the years, she has collaborated with: Madame Rebiné, Ambaradan, Compagnia Spettacolo senza mura, Teatro all’Osso and Teatro dell’Albero.
Her artistic training is rich in significant experiences: from physical theatre with Mario Barzaghi, to the Venice Biennale College Dance 2015 with Alessandro Sciarroni, from acrobatics with Paolo Dei Giudici, to workshops with renowned jugglers such as Stefan Sing and Gandini Juggling.
Doreen Grossmann
Circus artist with lots of love for juggling, dance and movement. Born in East Germany, Doreen moves to Berlin in 2003, where she develops her technique of juggling and dance following numerous seminars led by exceptional artists of the field.
In 2007 she started working with Gandini Juggling, an internationally renowned artistic dance and juggling company based in London, UK.
With Gandini Juggling she gets involved in the creation and circulation of numerous shows, performing all around the world. Notable performances include the opening show of the Paralympic Games at the Olympic stadium in London in 2012 and the autumn season at the Metropolitan Opera in New York with Akhnaten in 2019. At the moment she tours with Gandini Juggling’s new show HEKA.
